And the Heisman trophy goes to…

Chase Daniel! My prediction is that the Heisman committee will somehow screw this up and give it to the least deserving of the candidates present at the ceremony. The southeast will split its vote among the two SEC players, and the rest of the country will probably vote for Chase Daniel. The problem with college football has always been biased journalists, they control college football. Some fat guy with a pen gets to decide who the national champion will be and who the best player is. A lot of people sent their ballots in before the Big 12 championship game, and that leads me to believe that several votes were cast for Daniel without watching his team get torched by the Sooners for a second straight time. Here is an argument for each player.

Tim Tebow:

Positives – played well in every game including losses, #2 in QB rating at 177.85, set touchdown records and is revolutionizing (again) the quarterback position. He is everything to his team who would probably be going to the Music City Bowl without him

Negatives – He's a sophomore, he may be gay, and lots of people hate him.

Darren McFadden:

Positives – He's the best player in college football, he finished #2 last year, #4 in rushing yards with 1,725 this year, had 321 against South Carolina and 206 against LSU,
and he has a sweet ride.

Negatives – He will split some votes with Tebow, his team lost 4 games, and the 9-7 loss to Auburn they had an option of running the entire game (never went to pass only) and he still only got 43 yards.

Chase Daniel

Positives – Led his team to the best record in memory, and was ranked #1 in the country on the last week of the regular season, 4,170 passing yards is good for 5th in the nation, 70% completion and 33 TDs, does not play in the SEC.

Negatives – He's short and his best wins were over Kansas and Illinois.
